Job description
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist the Engineering Manager in general Engineering principles and process.
  • Act as designated competent person for historical area of expertise (i.e. Platform Screen Doors, MEP, Civils & Tracks, or other).
  • Analyse asset performance to identify emerging trends, determine effectiveness of existing maintenance regime, and make appropriate recommendations to departments.
  • Develop and update documentation and processes, including work instructions, procedures and training materials.
  • Proactively review and monitor KPIs to ensure adherence and highlight deviations to support business actions.
  • Support implementation of new technology via the change management process.
  • Support development of complex data modelling and analysis initiatives to enhance data and reporting capabilities, incorporating automation and dashboards.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members, encouraging best practice in data analysis and modelling techniques.
  • Support statistical, qualitative, quantitative and predictive analysis on data sources pertinent to operational performance across the Dubai Metro, benchmarking against international standards.
  • Support all tasks to aid production of contractual and internal KPI reporting requirements, reviewing consistency and accuracy before submission within stipulated timescales.
  • Assist in development of business cases to support strategic investment in systems, processes and/or solutions.
  • Support development and enhancement of RAM analysis and reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvements aligned to the FRACAS process and ensure Engineering Technical Investigations are timely with traceable actions.
  • Be point of Contact and fully support Failure Review Boards (FRB) for areas of technical expertise.
  • Be the Designated Competent Person in relation to Change Management and the ACCA process.
  • Drive ownership and closure of takeover process (PTOC).
  • Work in conjunction with Engineering Project Department and Program Management office to ensure smooth transition of projects into Engineering.
  • Analyse Maintenance to ensure spares and consumables are in stock when required.
  • Lead complex projects supporting new or evolving processes/products or initiatives with cross‑functional or organization‑wide impact.
  • Perform ad‑hoc analysis and other duties as instructed by Engineering Manager, Head of Engineering, Head of Maintenance or E&M Director.
  • Analyse Asset management and drive improvements to ensure compliance with ISO55001.
  • Capable of using AutoCAD to support drawing updates as when required.
  • Ensure security and integrity of all data provided including reporting performance, finance and customer information; reference Keolis‑MHI non‑disclosure policy.
  • Exercise personal duty of care for own health, safety and welfare and for those affected by acts or omissions.
  • Ensure compliance with all training requirements of Keolis‑MHI and adhere to these requirements while employed.
  • Report any accidents, incidents, breaches or potential breaches to appropriate management or "speak‑up" process.
  • Perform on‑call when required for area of technical expertise.

  • Knowledge and application of RAMS, FRB, Change Management, Projects and assurance.
  • Experience of complex technical problems.
