Job summary

A leading global technology company is looking for a Field Electronic Technician in Abu Dhabi. The role involves troubleshooting, testing, and assembling electro-mechanical assemblies. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or Technical diploma in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation, along with preferred experience in maintaining electronic equipment. Knowledge of oscilloscopes and other basic instruments is required. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within a reputable company.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in maintenance of electronic or instrumentation equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to identify and communicate technical problems using logical troubleshooting techniques.
  • Knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists.

Job Requirements

As FieldElectronic Technician you will Troubleshoot, test, and assemble electro-mechanical assemblies.

As a Field Electronic Technician, you will be responsible for :

  • Tests and evaluates the performance, and if required, repairs oil purpose electronic and instrumentation equipment test equipment.
  • Reviews the accuracy of procedures for the assembly / disassembly and checkout of instrumentation. Configures electronic sensors and devices.
  • Troubleshooting data acquisition and control systems.
  • Assists with installation and configuration of instrumentation systems , sensors and accessories and accessories.
Work Experience
  • Have a Bachelor's degree or a Technical diploma or Associates degree in Electronic, Mechatronic OrInstrumentation
  • Have 1-2 experience in maintenance of electronic or instrumentation equipment is preferred
  • Ability to identifyand communicate technical problems by using logical troubleshooting techniques
  • Have knowledge in the use of oscilloscopes
  • Have knowledgeof multimeters, meggers, hi-pot testers, and other basic instruments.
  • Have ability to read, interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists.
