The opportunity

You will be reporting to service sales manager Middle East and will be developing sales plan and strategy based on knowledge of the market, customers, competitors, and Hitachi Energy install base to capture opportunities and increase Hitachi Energy market share and effectively applies the sales and uses related sales tools to capture opportunities, manage customers relations, improves internal communications, and increase sales efficiency.

How you’ll make an impact
  • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promoting customer understanding of full services offering and align to provide a solution, ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process and building long term customer commitment in complex business situation.

  • Maintaining and utilizing extensive network of contact both inside and outside the organization to achieve sales goal and objective and sales drives as Creating added value for the customer and Hitachi Energy and ensuring the successful outcome by using value base selling.

  • Actively find out short- and long-term opportunities to increase sales within own area of responsibility, balancing short term success with long term effectiveness and taking initiative in complex tasks and projects and acting as a coach to colleagues in overcome obstacles dealing with challenges.

  • Creating significant business opportunities based on analysis and understanding customers and relevant competitors market strategies and suggest solution to meet changing need.

  • Negotiating contract conditions commercial, financial, and legal terms to improve terms & conditions, complying with the risk management process to ensure cost efficient, taking action to minimize risks and sales process and related tools in full understanding of sales process and related tools.

  • Participating of improvement of a sales process and related tools and training colleagues in using the sales tools and understanding the sales process.

  • Full understanding of service portfolio to sell services and create service opportunities for product, making analysis of customer situation on the installed base.

  • Proposing Hitachi Energy service solution to solve specific issues and proactively works with customer to explore operational needs and expectation, analyzing customer expectations to recommend solution and contributing to the solution by negotiating deviations and agreeing win situation and proactively works with customer to explore operational needs and expectation.

  • Taking ownership of specific customer cases to ensure efficient customer issue resolution.

Your background
  • A bachelor’s degree in any field is required.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in sales background is preferred.

  • Proven experience in contract management and negotiation skills.

  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
