Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of animals physical health and develop personalized therapy or hydrotherapy plans

• Perform a range of treatments including manual therapy, laser therapy and electrotherapy

• Manage and operate hydrotherapy equipment such as underwater treadmills and therapy pools

• Support animals in postoperative recovery rehabilitation and musculoskeletal injury management

• Collaborate with veterinary surgeons to track progress and modify treatment plans accordingly

• Educate pet owners on homecare routines including exercises and followup care

• Maintain comprehensive patient records and treatment documentation

• Ensure a safe clean and calming environment during therapy sessions

• Participate in community wellness programs educational initiatives or offsite sessions when needed

• Stay updated on latest rehabilitation techniques and technology through continuous learning

RequirementsTo be considered for this role you need to meet the following criteria:

• Formal qualification in Animal Physiotherapy Veterinary Rehabilitation or related discipline

• Previous handson experience in physiotherapy or hydrotherapy settings

• Empathetic calm and patient approach when working with animals and their owners

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude

• Willingness to travel for offsite visits or athome sessions if required
