Job summary

A leading global well-being company is seeking an Allocator to manage the full allocation cycle across its Sports Common retail outlets. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a solid understanding of retail inventory planning. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Business, preferably in Merchandising, and 2 years of experience in merchandising or allocation, with an emphasis on sports retail. Responsibilities include monitoring stock and supporting replenishment strategies to align with consumer demand.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end allocation process for Sports Common division.
  • Analyse sales performance and inventory levels.
  • Monitor stock alignment with sales targets.
  • Generate allocation performance reports.
  • Support replenishment and redistribution strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with allocation guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Logistics to resolve supply-chain issues.
  • Assist in evaluating promotions to improve stock turnover.

About the Role

The Allocator will manage the full allocation cycle across GMG’s Sports Common retail outlets, ensuring products are distributed efficiently and in line with consumer demand. Working closely with the Merchandising team, the role will support merchandising strategies that drive operational excellence, stock efficiency, and revenue performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the end‑to‑end allocation process for the Sports Common division.
  • Analyse sales performance, inventory levels, and planned distribution to optimise product availability.
  • Monitor stock across all stores to ensure alignment with sales targets, store capacities, and seasonal demand.
  • Generate regular reports to track allocation performance and guide future decision‑making.
  • Support timely replenishment of high‑performing stores and execute redistribution strategies for under‑performing stock.
  • Ensure compliance with GMG’s allocation guidelines and implement process improvements where needed.
  • Collaborate with Logistics to resolve supply‑chain issues affecting product flow.
  • Assist in evaluating promotions and markdown strategies to improve stock turnover and profitability.
