Job description

The Agency Development Team (ADT) is focused on driving and growing overall spends from the agencies’ portfolio of clients by devising and implementing strategies and plans that incentivize agencies to spend with Yahoo! The ADT ensures that Yahoo! remains top-of-mind by educating agency media planners on Yahoo! products and solutions, streamlining operations with the Yahoo! team, and maintaining high service quality. The ADT also collects and channels data, insights, and market metrics related to advertising dynamics.

The Role

This role involves four key disciplines within the agency development team: trading deals, agency business analysis, sales operations, and sales business reporting. As an analyst and project manager, the Sales Business Manager provides leadership with insights into sales performance and helps streamline business operations.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head of Agency Development in setting strategies for agency trading deals.
  • Manage the administrative processes of all agency trading deals.
  • Conduct agency spend analyses to identify trends, flag issues, and suggest improvements for the Field Sales and Agency Development teams.
  • Support Agency Development Managers with evaluations and reports on agency relationships, including spend, customer service, product knowledge, and revenue collection.
  • Maintain the agency profiling and operating model database.
  • Help Client Development Managers with financial modeling of upfronts and annual deals.
  • Evaluate and suggest optimizations for key systems and processes between sales and other Yahoo! departments.
  • Serve as the main contact for all sales operations.
