Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in the United Arab Emirates is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setup. The role involves planning preventive maintenance schedules, ensuring safety during maintenance, and coordinating with different departments on safety and health aspects. A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or business is required. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong emphasis on safety management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing setup.
• Experience in planning preventive maintenance schedules for production machinery.
• Ability to liaise with department heads on safety, health, and environmental aspects.

Job description

Plans electrical projects by determining specifications, selecting contractors, establishing installation schedules, planning shut-downs and installations, integrating architectural and mechanical design specifications, verifying code requirements, and updating cost estimates.

• Plan and follow up preventive maintenance schedule for production machinery
• Coordinate/ Initiate machine improvement
• Procurement of machinery's parts
• Ensure his own safety and other people safety while carrying out maintenance job
• Educate his/her subordinates in developing their skill and knowledge.
• To follow and implement all IMS system procedures
• To comply with all related legal requirements
• Attend to machinery breakdowns as and when problems arise
• Carry out other assignments given by his superior
• Full responsible for all factory safety, health and environment aspects has been i dentified and properly managed to meet legal requirements
• Liaise with Departments Heads on all safety , health and environment aspect for
• Priotisze SHE programs and ensure that they are implemented effectively and consistently
• Provide training and coaching for employees, contractors, transporter and other to enhance their understanding and capabalities on SHE related matters
• Maintain documents related to SHE and provide monthly report on Lost Time Incident(LTI)to Management
• Investigate and cases brought to his attention with regards to SHE management programsare effectively implemented
• Coordinate with authorities and ensure all reports and documents are well prepareda nd submitted timely
• Arrange and participate in safety committee and follow up with action status

KPIs

• Reduce Electrical breakdown hrs by 5% from last year
• Carried out all planned capex and improvement activities

Work experience requirement

Maintenance (Electrical) work experinece minimum of 3+ years in any manufacturing set up
