About the Company

We are seeking a skilled Acoustics Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and assessment of acoustic systems for various projects.

Role Summary

The Acoustics Engineer will be responsible for designing analyzing and implementing acoustic solutions to ensure optimal sound quality noise control and compliance with local and international standards. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including architects and fire & life safety specialists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct acoustic assessments and noise impact studies for buildings infrastructure and industrial projects.
  • Design and simulate architectural and environmental acoustic solutions including soundproofing room acoustics and noise control measures.
  • Perform sound and vibration measurements using specialized equipment and software.
  • Collaborate with design teams to integrate acoustic solutions into architectural systems.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports drawings and specifications for acoustic designs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant international standards and local regulations.
  • Review contractor submittals and perform site inspections for quality control of installed acoustic systems.
  • Provide guidance on acoustic materials selection layout and performance optimization.
  • Participate in client meetings presentations and technical discussions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Acoustical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Architectural Engineering or related field.
  • Professional certification in acoustics or membership in a recognized acoustic society is a plus.
  • Minimum 37 years of experience in architectural environmental or industrial acoustics.

  • Proficiency in acoustic modeling and simulation software (e.g. Odeon EASE SoundPLAN CAD-based tools).
  • Strong knowledge of building and environmental acoustics principles.
  • Experience with sound and vibration measurement equipment.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred
  • Experience in fire safety and MEP integration.
  • Familiarity with UAE / GCC acoustic and building regulations.
  • Exposure to large-scale infrastructure healthcare or hospitality projects.
