Job summary

A leading global service provider in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Accounting Officer to support the Finance Controller with accounting activities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in Arabic and English, strong proficiency in Excel, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. Responsibilities include managing financial records, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. This is a full-time permanent position offering a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office is necessary.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations is a must.
  • Understanding of financial reporting and internal controls is required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the finance controller with month-end closing and audits.
  • Coordinate invoicing and payment processing with the Accounts Department.
  • Liaise between Procurement and Operations for purchase orders and deliveries.
  • Support tax filings and compliance in Iraq.
  • Manage petty cash transactions and ensure accurate records.
  • Assist with general accounting and administrative tasks.
