Overview

General Accountant - Real Estate Division. Based in Sharjah, UAE. Reporting to the Finance or Money Supervisor. Responsible for performing accounting activities to completion, consolidation, and filing of quarterly VAT returns. The role supports the Property Division within a luxury furniture company client environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting tasks including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts.
  • Coordinate and contribute to the completion of annual audits; review financial reports and supporting documentation as required.
  • Assess and report on financial position including income statement variances; communicate financial outcomes to management; participate in budget preparation and analysis.
  • Enhance systems and procedures and initiate corrective action as needed.
  • Accounts payable function.
  • Manage taxes and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
Qualifications
