Job description

Overview

We’re seeking a store helper to join our group and have expertise in a similar field. The applicant should support contribution collection by driving in a truck and loading, transporting, and moving donations into the vehicle, as well as unloading them at the storehouse.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in monitoring and taking inventory on a regular basis to compile orders, maintain stock levels to ensure stock availability and inventory control.
  • Follow all standards for issuing and receiving stock within the store’s area of operation. Ensure necessary signatures are secured if the Storekeeper is not available.
  • Assist and responsible to verify all goods arrived as per the approved purchase order.
  • Receive, unload, and shelve supplies.
  • Ensure the quantity and quality requested in store always matches with the item issued.
  • Responsible for any missing inventory, and immediately report in case of occurrence.
  • Assist in inspecting deliveries for damage or discrepancies. Notify immediately the Storekeeper that needs to be reported to Purchase Officer to ask the Supplier for item replacement and/or Credit Note. Report those to accounting for record keeping.
  • Ensure cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage areas clean & tidy and in strict compliance with safety procedures.
  • With basic computer knowledge.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the management or supervisors.
