Job summary

A premier cruise line in South Africa is seeking a PADI Certified Diver to lead diving excursions and ensure guest safety during their underwater experiences. The role includes conducting safety briefings, maintaining diving equipment, and providing exceptional customer service while coordinating with the onboard team. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience, valid certifications, and excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of diving equipment and maintenance procedures.
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct diving excursions for guests including leading guided dives.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of diving equipment.
  • Monitor cleanliness and safety of dive deck and equipment areas.

Skills

Excellent swimming and diving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work well in a team

Education

PADI Certified Diver
Valid First Aid and CPR certifications
