Job Title - Tech process Analyst
Experience - 5+ Years
Role Purpose
We are looking for a Tech Process Analyst to support the organization in diagnosing and resolving challenges within the software development and implementation lifecycle. The role will partner with Processing Engineering to analyze pain points across technology delivery, strengthen process governance, and improve the speed and quality of system rollouts in a banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development Process Analysis
- Map and review the current SDLC, including requirements, design, build, QA/testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Identify bottlenecks, failure points, delays, and recurring defects affecting system delivery.
- Evaluate alignment between business requirements, risk/compliance needs, and technical execution.
Technology & Systems Insight
- Collaborate with Solution Analysts, Business Analysts, Architects, and Developers to understand system logic, integrations, and platform constraints.
- Analyze issues related to system configuration, release management, and environment readiness.
- Support clearer translation of business needs into technical requirements.
Process Engineering & Optimisation (Banking Context)
- Improve workflows and governance across IT, business, risk, and operations.
- Recommend enhancements to stage gates, documentation standards, change controls, and deployment processes.
- Support optimisation of incident, change, and problem management linked to software implementation.
Data, Risk & Performance Analysis
- Analyze delivery metrics such as defect trends, cycle times, change failure rates, and deployment success rates.
- Conduct root-cause analysis on failed or delayed releases.
- Prepare reports and insights for IT leadership, risk committees, and project steering forums.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with development squads, product owners, QA teams, and operational units.
- Participate in UAT, testing reviews, and readiness assessments.
- Support change management for new system rollouts across the bank.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years’ experience in banking, technology delivery, or a similar regulated environment.
- Experience working with software development teams (Agile/Scrum, DevOps, or hybrid environments).
- Strong understanding of SDLC, system implementation processes, and IT governance frameworks.
- Proven experience in process mapping, optimisation, and root-cause analysis (Lean, Six Sigma, BPMN, etc.).
Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CRM, or platform configuration concepts).
- Experience in release management, QA/test coordination, or application support.
- Knowledge of banking regulatory requirements influence system design and delivery (e.g., data privacy, risk controls, audit requirements).
