Position Overview: We’re hiring a Recruiter to source, screen, and place traveling craft professionals for high-impact projects across the country. This is a hybrid role based in the Houston, TX area, with occasional on-site client visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and recruit traveling craft professionals, including electricians, welders, and millwrights
- Write compelling, keyword-optimized job postings to attract top talent
- Screen candidates for technical skills, certifications, experience, and cultural fit
- Build and maintain an active pipeline of traveling professionals
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle—from first outreach to offer acceptance
- Partner with field leadership to anticipate project staffing needs and timelines
- Conduct occasional on-site client visits in the Houston area
- Stay current on industry certifications, wage trends, and labor market data
What You Bring:
- 2+ years of recruiting experience in the construction, industrial, or related sectors
- Proven success recruiting and placing traveling professionals or trades talent
- Strong understanding of trade certifications (e.g., Journeyman, NCCER, OSHA)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with ATS/recruiting tools and Microsoft Office
- Residency in the Houston, TX area (required)
