Job Title: Broadcast Researcher – His Glory Network

Location: Mt Pleasant, TX or Remote

Job Type: Contract or Part-Time

Job Summary: His Glory Network is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Broadcast Researcher to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring our programming is accurate, insightful, and aligned with our Christian Conservative values. The Broadcast Researcher will be responsible for conducting in-depth research on a variety of topics for multiple shows. The ideal candidate has a strong background in research, familiarity with faith-based topics, and a keen understanding of current events.

Purpose: Our purpose is to spread the Gospel from east to west to north to south, bringing the word of His Glory to the world and allowing the His Glory family to find community and grow in their faith.

Vision: Our vision is to reach a billion people worldwide with the hope of the Gospel Message and the truth of Jesus Christ.

Mission Statement: The Bible is the literal and infallible word of God. Our house shall be called a house of prayer. Prayer is the foundation of all ministry. We are led by the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit. We have the Father’s Heart for the lost, the poor, the elderly, the widow and the orphans. We will be called the servants of the Most High God. We are here to serve Him in ministry. In everything we do, we glorify our Lord. It is our love for Him that compels us. Fivefold ministry according to Eph. 4:11 – The Apostles, the prophets, the evangelists and the pastors and teachers.

GOALS: Enhance His Glory audience and watch time by providing accurate, insightful, and timely research that enriches His Glory Network’s programming, ensuring it aligns with Christian values and engages the audience with credible, well-rounded content which will in turn help spread the Gospel message and reach a billion souls for Christ.

Responsibilities will include conducting in-depth research to support multiple shows, staying informed on current events, faith-based issues, and conservative topics, and ensuring accuracy and credibility in all materials.

• Conduct thorough research – Provide accurate and comprehensive research on current events, faith-based issues, and conservative topics relevant to each show’s focus.
• Prepare Research Briefs – Create well-organized and concise research briefs for hosts and producers, summarizing key facts, insights, and supporting materials.
• Fact-Checking – Verify all information provided for accuracy, ensuring the network’s programming is credible and aligned with His Glory’s values.
• Collaborate with Production Teams – Work closely with producers and hosts to ensure that researched topics are effectively integrated into show scripts and content plans.
• Stay Updated on Relevant Issues – Monitor news, religious events, and socio-political developments to provide timely information and suggest new topics or angles for coverage.
• Support Content Development – Assist in generating ideas and background material for special segments, interviews, and guest discussions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Theology, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in research, preferably within a media, broadcasting, or faith-based organization.
• Strong understanding of Christian theology, biblical knowledge, and conservative perspectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple research assignments and work within tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with content creation and broadcast media workflows is a plus.
