Overview

Job Responsibilities

First Financial Bank has an immediate opening for an Electronic Banking Specialist at the Corporate Office located in El Dorado, Arkansas.

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide technical support to our customers/branches for all of our electronic banking services. This individual will be cross trained in all areas of EBD: ATM/Debit Cards, Internet/Telephone Banking, Wires, ACH/Origination, Mobile Banking, Merchant and Consumer Capture and the various accounting functions that are pertinent to this position while working in a group environment.

Education and Experience: High school diploma plus additional training up through one year of college or technical school; two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Complexity: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Daily Process of Incoming and Outgoing ACH Activity including Originations and ACH Returns using the FedAdvantage software. Process Incoming and Outgoing wires utilizing WireXchange, following OFAC procedures. Work with areas of the Internet Banking process; Personal and Business utilizing Corillian and Business Online software. Work with ATM/POS cards which include ordering, daily posting of rejects and disputes. Work with Accounting and provide reporting in conjunction with the settlement of FHLB. Order Branch Cash on a weekly basis for all locations utilizing Fed Advantage. Daily Procedures outlined in the EBD Manual, i.e., answer customer telephone calls regarding routine EBD related questions in a professional, clear, courteous, and timely manner; research and resolve a wide range of customer issues acting as the customer liaison between other bank departments when necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to operate basic office equipment, computers and knowledge of AS400, Excel and Word. Requires excellent organization skills and ability to work under strict time deadlines. Strong attention to details. Must have strong verbal and interpersonal relationship skills. Should be able to handle multiple tasks and be a self-starter.
