Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Timekeeping Systems SME to act as the central contact for employees submitting time and supervisors approving it. You will coordinate across HR and Payroll, ensure system integrity, and support timely payroll processing while navigating system enhancements and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include audits, user guidance, training material updates, and proxy setup for uninterrupted service. Collaboration with HR/Payroll is essential to stay aligned with processes.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in HR, General Business, Computer Systems, or similar discipline.
• 1 year or more experience with time keeping systems is a plus.
• 2+ years in HR practices and policies.
• Understand HR role and its influence on business and employees.
• Ability to train and influence system users.
• Knowledge of how timekeeping links to Payroll.
• Knowledge of compliance rules (federal/state/local) for US/PR/Canada.
• Knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow is a plus.
• Proven MS Office skills (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, Access).

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to employees and managers navigating the timekeeping system(s).
• Conduct regular audits of timekeeping system usage for policy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with HR and Payroll stakeholders.
• Update and distribute timekeeping training materials to reflect changes.
• Ensure timely access and training for new users and role transitions.
• Complete proxy setups to avoid disruption during absences.
