Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Timekeeping System SME to serve as the central point of contact for employees and supervisors submitting time and for approving it. You will bridge the gap between the system, its users, and HR/Payroll to ensure accurate payroll processing and system integrity.

You will troubleshoot issues, guide users, collaborate on enhancements, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations. Prior experience with timekeeping and payroll processes is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in HR, General Business, Computer Systems, or similar discipline.
• 1 year or more experience with time keeping systems is a plus.
• 2 years or more hands-on experience in HR practices and policies.
• Understand HR's role in business and employee day-to-day activities.
• Know how to train and influence system users.
• Knowledge of timekeeping and payroll inter-relationship.
• General knowledge of compliance rules (US/PR/Canada).
• Knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to employees and managers navigating the timekeeping system(s).
• Conduct regular audits of timekeeping system(s) for policy compliance and data integrity.
• Maintain collaborative relationship with HR and Payroll stakeholders.
• Update and distribute timekeeping training materials.
• Ensure timely access for new users and role changes.
• Complete proxy set-ups to prevent service disruption.
