Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Timekeeping Systems SME to serve as the central contact for employees submitting time and supervisors approving it. You will coordinate with HR and Payroll, ensure system integrity, and support timely payroll processing.

You will troubleshoot issues, guide users, and drive system enhancements while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The role requires collaboration across stakeholders, ongoing training material updates, and proper access control for new users

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in HR/General Business/Computer Systems or similar.
• Experience with timekeeping systems is a plus.
• 2+ years in HR practices and policies.
• Understand HR's role and its business impact.
• Ability to train and influence system users.
• Knowledge of timekeeping and payroll interrelation.
• Knowledge of U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada timekeeping compliance.
• Workday and ServiceNow knowledge.
• MS Office Suite knowledge (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, Access).

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to employees and managers navigating timekeeping systems.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure policy compliance and accuracy.
• Maintain collaboration with HR and Payroll stakeholders.
• Update training materials to reflect system changes and compliance.
• Grant timely access to new users and role changes.
• Create proxy setups to prevent service disruption during absences.
• Provide user support and timely follow-ups.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate stakeholders.
• Collect information ahead of escalation for efficient resolution.
• Run reports to identify data discrepancies and improve integrity.
• Maintain and build a centralized knowledge repository (QRGs/FAQs).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
