Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to join our Power Delivery Team. You will lead the design and delivery of high-voltage overhead transmission line projects, with opportunities to work remotely or from multiple offices across the Pacific region.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in electrical transmission, PE license, and strong PLS-CADD proficiency. You will collaborate with clients, mentor staff, and contribute to safety, quality, and project success in a dynamic consulting

Qualifications

• 10+ years in electrical transmission design for capital projects.
• PE license, multi-state preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NESC/GO-95 and transmission fundamentals.
• Proficient in PLS-CADD and related design tools.
• Excellent communication and safety record.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Develop project scope, schedule, and budget with PMs.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams on status and deliverables.
• Maintain QA/QC procedures and safety standards.
• Mentor staff and support business development activities.
