Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to lead high-voltage overhead line projects and provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams. The role supports project development from planning through delivery, with emphasis on quality, safety, and client interaction.

The candidate will manage schedules, mentor staff, and coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant post-education experience in electrical transmission design for capital projects.
• PE license required (multi-state preferred).
• Strong understanding of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD operation.
• Knowledge of NESC, RUS, and GO-95 guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Develop initial project execution layout and establish an efficient project plan.
• Create and maintain project schedules; lead meetings to outline deliverables and responsibilities.
• Coordinate with clients and support project meetings; ensure clear communication across teams.
