Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Transmission Line Project Engineer to lead high‑voltage overhead transmission projects and support project development. The role offers flexible work arrangements including remote work and Southeast offices.

Responsibilities include engineering leadership, scheduling, client coordination, and adherence to QA/QC standards. Requires 7–10 years in transmission, PE licensure, and strong PLS‑CADD expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and PE licensure are required.
• 7–10 years’ experience in transmission project design and leadership.
• Strong knowledge of NESC, RUS, GO-95 and PLS-CADD.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets with PMs.
• Coordinate with clients and lead project meetings.
• Ensure QA/QC adherence and safe, disciplined engineering practices.
• Mentor staff and support business development activities.
