Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to join our Power Delivery Team. The role supports high‑voltage overhead projects and offers flexible work arrangements, including remote or office options across the Southeast.

You will lead engineering efforts, mentor staff, manage schedules, and coordinate with clients to deliver technically excellent outcomes while adhering to QA/QC and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; PE preferred.
• 10+ years in electrical transmission design and delivery.
• Strong knowledge of NESC, RUS, and GO-95 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Develop project execution layouts and schedules.
• Coordinate with clients and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Ensure QA/QC adherence and safety standards.
