Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to lead high‑voltage overhead transmission projects up to 765 kV, with flexible work arrangements including remote or office options at Pacific region offices.

The role provides technical leadership, project planning, client coordination, QA/QC, and staff mentoring. Requires 10+ years in electrical transmission, PE license, and proficiency with PLS-CADD and related tools.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of post education experience in the electrical transmission industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or closely related discipline; PE license preferred.
• Strong knowledge of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD operation.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Develop project execution layouts and schedules.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams; mentor staff.
• Ensure QA/QC adherence and safety standards.
• Support business development and client meetings.
