Job summary

BD is seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 to resolve complex, time-sensitive issues related to ES 1.1x upgrades and implementations. The role requires strong SQL skills, Windows server administration, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support internal customers.

The position offers remote work from a home office with potential in-office collaboration as needed, and requires dedication to customer service, documentation in Salesforce, and adherence to BD Total

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronic Technologies or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
2+ years of Microsoft SQL experience and ability to write queries (SELECT and JOIN).
SSIS exposure/experience; SQL Reporting Services.
Windows Server (2008+) and Desktop Administration.
Networking topology, commands; IIS and Web apps administration.
Group Policies terminology and administration; VMware terminology and administration.
Ability to review application and OS logs (2+ years).
Remote position working from home office.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with ES 1.1x upgrade team to ensure timely communication and coordination of support.
Adhere to regulatory requirements for ES 1.1x remediation efforts.
Maintain and expand knowledge of ES 1.1x to troubleshoot and support effectively.
Answer inbound calls, callbacks, and escalations on the 1.1x Channel.
Provide progress updates to customers and gather feedback to meet needs.
Prioritize and manage cases to ensure high-quality customer experience.
