BD is hiring a Technical Support Specialist 2 to assist in resolving complex, time-sensitive issues across ES 1.1x upgrades. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, concise case notes, and proactive customer communications, with a focus on maintaining data quality in Salesforce.

Candidates will work with SQL, Windows Server environments, and BD products to ensure timely remediation and escalations are resolved, while balancing in-office collaboration with remote work options.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronic Technologies or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• Microsoft SQL experience (2+ years)
• Must be able to write queries and analyze SQL data (i.e. Select and Join statements) within complex database structures.
• SSIS (SQL Job) exposure/experience
• SQL Reporting Services
• Windows Server (2008+) and Desktop Administration (Win7+)
• Networking topology, terminology, commands
• IIS and Web Application Administration
• Group Policies Terminology and Administration
• VMWare Terminology and Administration
• Application Installation and Troubleshooting
• Ports (Networking/OS)
• Understanding of XML language (1+ years)
• Ability to review application and OS logs (2+ years)
• Flexible in working hours to meet the needs of the remediation team/schedule
• Remote position working from home office

Mansioni

• Assist in resolving complex, time-sensitive, high-risk issues, including customer escalations and site downtime.
• Coordinate with ES 1.1x upgrade team for timely communications and support.
• Maintain knowledge of ES 1.1x remediation efforts and regulatory requirements.
• Provide CSC support to internal peers related to ES 1.1x upgrade and implementation.
• Document case notes with high data quality and integrity (Salesforce).
