Job summary

BD is seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 to resolve complex, time-sensitive issues arising from ES 1.1x upgrades. The role requires deep SQL knowledge, Windows server experience, and strong communication with non-technical users.

You will collaborate with the ES upgrade team to ensure timely resolution and maintain data quality in Salesforce. The position is a limited-term assignment, spanning through June 2028, with benefits eligibility and a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronic Technologies or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft SQL experience; able to write queries and analyze SQL data (SELECT and JOIN).
• SSIS exposure/experience.
• SQL Reporting Services.
• Windows Server (2008+) and Desktop Administration (Win7+).
• Networking topology, terminology, commands.
• IIS and Web Application Administration.
• Active Directory Administration.
• VMWare terminology and Administration.
• DNS/DHCP/Telnet.
• Understanding of XML language.
• Review application and OS logs (2+ years).
• Wireshark (1+ Years).

Responsibilities

• Provide CSC support to ES 1.1x remediation efforts and upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-functional ES 1.1x upgrade team for timely communication and coordination.
• Communicate technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
• Maintain high-quality case notes and data integrity in Salesforce.
• Identify trends in case work and escalate as needed.
• Adhere to training timelines and contribute to team KPIs and SLAs.
