Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior SCADA Engineer, Design, to lead SCADA system design for utility-scale PV, BESS, and wind projects. This fully remote role requires delivering high-quality drawings, ensuring standards compliance, and mentoring junior engineers.

You will collaborate with OT teams, drive standardization, and participate in FATs and project handoffs to ensure reliability and long-term performance.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electrical, mechanical or energy engineering is preferred.
• 6-8 years of engineering experience in renewable energy and SCADA.
• Direct experience drafting engineering drawing sets for SCADA, networking, electrical or substation designs.
• AutoCAD proficiency and knowledge of design standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-house design of SCADA monitoring and control systems for utility-scale projects.
• Develop, review, and approve detailed design documentation including drawings and diagrams.
• Mentor junior engineers and enforce design standards across the team.
• Coordinate with OT team to align server and networking hardware requirements.
