Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with ownership of distributed applications.
• Expert Java and Spring Boot with REST API design and security considerations.
• Routing for contact centers or CX platforms experience desired.
• Knowledge of ACD concepts, queues, and skill-based routing.
• API-first design, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native engineering.
• Strong documentation and client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-scale routing engines in real time.
• Implement intelligent routing based on skills, priorities, and rules.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, resilience, and performance.
• Design APIs for routing configuration, administration, monitoring, and integration.
• Integrate routing with telephony, messaging, workforce management, and CRM systems.
• Define non-functional requirements for availability, security, observability.
• Collaborate with CX domain experts to translate requirements into routing capabilities.
