Job summary

Miratech is seeking a Senior Routing Engine Developer to design and build the next generation interaction routing platform powering enterprise-scale contact center operations. You will create a scalable backend in Java/Spring Boot, handling real-time routing of voice and digital interactions across agents, queues, and channels.

You will collaborate with product, architecture, and CX teams to implement routing features, ensure high availability, and optimize performance under strict latency

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with ownership of distributed applications
• Expert Java/Spring Boot with REST APIs, persistence, security, testing and performance engineering
• Routing logic experience for contact center or CX platforms
• Knowledge of ACD concepts, queue management, and workload balancing
• API-first design, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native engineering
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and data modeling
• Hands-on with CX platforms and operational routing concepts
• Excellent documentation and client-facing workshop facilitation

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-scale routing engines for real-time distribution of voice and digital interactions
• Implement intelligent routing algorithms based on skills, priorities, capacity and rules
• Ensure high availability, scalability, resilience, and performance for queues and routing paths
• Design APIs for routing configuration, administration, monitoring and integration
• Collaborate with telephony, CRM, analytics, and identity platforms to implement routing features
• Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and deployment views
• Define non-functional requirements for availability, performance, security, observability and DR
• Review designs, identify risks, and drive pragmatic, cost-conscious decisions
