Job summary

Miratech is seeking a Senior Routing Engine Developer to design and build the next generation interaction routing platform powering enterprise-scale contact center operations. You will develop core routing engines with real-time distribution of voice and digital interactions, using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native tech.

You will work on highly scalable backend services, APIs, and integration components, collaborating with product, CX, and analytics teams to meet latency and resiliency

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering with ownership of architecture for distributed apps.
• Expert-level Java and Spring Boot, with microservices, REST APIs, security, testing, and performance engineering.
• Experience developing routing logic for contact center, CX, or communications platforms.
• Knowledge of ACD concepts, queues, skill-based routing, workload balancing.
• Strong API-first design, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native engineering.
• Relational database experience (PostgreSQL) and data modeling.
• Hands-on with CX platforms and routing/engagement concepts.
• Excellent communication and ability to document and lead workshops.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-scale routing engines for real-time voice and digital interactions.
• Implement routing algorithms based on skills, priorities, capacity, and business rules.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, resilience, and performance across routing paths.
• Design and maintain APIs for routing configuration, administration, monitoring, and integration.
• Integrate routing services with telephony, messaging, CRM, identity, reporting, and analytics platforms.
• Translate business requirements into routing components, deployment views, and technical roadmaps.
• Define non-functional requirements for availability, performance, security, privacy, observability, and disaster recovery.
