Leidos Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Power Delivery Solutions division. You will lead a team of project managers delivering substation engineering projects for electric utility clients across the Northern and Midwestern US, focusing on portfolio performance and strategic initiatives.

You will provide mentorship, manage bids and cost estimates, and oversee invoicing and AR processes while partnering with clients and internal teams to ensure on-time,

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance or Related field.
• 7+ years PM experience in electric power industry or 6+ years with Master’s.
• Experience with electric utilities.
• Understanding of electric power industry/infrastructure projects.
• Experience with project financials, bid proposals and cost estimates.
• Experience with portfolio management, contract management and risk mitigation.
• Strong leadership with focus on portfolio management and team development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel with valid US driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of project managers to deliver substation engineering design projects for electric utilities.
• Own portfolio performance: cost, schedule, and scope management.
• Drive strategic initiatives—process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Mentor and develop PM staff, fostering collaboration and continuous learning.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders to address issues, report progress, and mitigate risks.
• Oversee bid documents, cost estimates, and responses to RFPs.
• Manage monthly client invoicing, accruals, and AR processes.
• Pursue business development opportunities to support growth.
• Ensure contract compliance and quality control standards.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, project teams, subcontractors, and support personnel.
• Travel to client-related activity as needed (less than 25%).
