Job summary

Leidos Engineering is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Strategic Project Consulting team within Power Delivery Solutions. You will oversee a portfolio of electric utility capital projects, with emphasis on substation construction, expansions, and protection & control upgrades.

You’ll lead cross-functional teams, manage risks, and coordinate with clients, accounting, and leadership, while reporting to Jacksonville weekly in a primarily remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Construction Management, or other relevant field.
• 8+ years of progressive Project Management experience within the Utility Industry.
• PMP Certification or willingness to obtain within two years.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution teams across Engineering, Construction, Permitting, Siting, Environmental, Cost Controls and Scheduling to deliver capital projects for electric utility clients.
• Own portfolio performance including cost, schedule, and scope management; serve as escalation point on complex/substation projects and apply risk mitigation.
• Serve as primary client and internal stakeholder contact; present portfolio health and project status to leadership and resolve escalated issues.
