Leidos Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Power Delivery Solutions division. You will lead a portfolio of substation design projects for electric utility clients across the Northern and Midwestern US, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while upholding safety and quality standards.

This role blends hands-on leadership of project managers, client relations, and strategic initiatives, with remote/hybrid work options for candidates in or near the Chicago area.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management experience in electric power or related field.
• Experience with electric utilities and portfolio management.
• Proven bid proposals, cost estimates and risk mitigation.
• Strong leadership and ability to develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of project managers to deliver substation design projects for utility clients.
• Oversee portfolio performance in cost, schedule, and scope.
• Drive strategic initiatives and process improvements.
• Mentor PM staff and manage client interfaces and reporting.
• Prepare bid documents and respond to RFPs.
• Travel up to 25% as needed.
