Job summary

Leidos Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Power Delivery Solutions division. You will lead a team delivering substation engineering design projects for electric utility clients across the Northern and Midwestern US, owning portfolio performance and coordinating with clients and internal stakeholders.

This role offers hybrid/remote work with preference for candidates near the Chicago area.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance or related field.
Seven years of PM experience in electric power industry (BS) OR six years with MS degree.
Experience with electric utilities and portfolio/contract management.
Strong leadership, communication, and risk management skills.
Proficiency with project management software (Workfront, MS Project, P6) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of project managers to deliver substation engineering design projects for electric utility clients.
Own portfolio performance including cost, schedule, and scope management.
Drive strategic initiatives, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.
Mentor and develop PM staff, fostering collaboration and learning.
Interface with clients and stakeholders to report progress and mitigate risks.
