Job summary

Leidos Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Power Delivery Solutions division. You will lead a team delivering substation engineering projects for electric utility clients across the Northern and Midwestern US, owning portfolio performance and ensuring cost, schedule, and scope are managed to exceed expectations.

This role offers remote and hybrid work, but candidates should be located in or near the greater Chicago area to serve local clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance or related field.
• 7+ years PM experience in electric power industry or 6+ with Master's.
• Experience with electric utilities and power infrastructure projects.
• Experience with portfolio management, contract management and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of project managers to deliver substation engineering projects for electric utility clients.
• Own portfolio performance including cost, schedule and scope management.
• Drive strategic initiatives, process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Mentor and develop project management staff, fostering collaboration and learning.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders to address issues, report progress and mitigate risks.
