Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Project Manager in the Power Delivery Solutions division to lead a team delivering substation engineering design projects for utility clients across the Northern and Midwestern US. You’ll own portfolio performance, manage costs, schedules, and scope, and drive strategic process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance or Related field.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant Project Management experience in the electric power industry or related field with BS Degree or minimum of six (6) years with a Master’s degree.
• Experience with electric utilities required.
• Strong leadership with portfolio management and team development.
• Proficiency in project management software (Workfront, MS Project, P6) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of project managers to deliver comprehensive substation engineering design projects for electric utility clients.
• Take ownership of overall portfolio performance, including cost, schedule, and scope management.
• Drive strategic initiatives focusing on process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Mentor and develop project management staff.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders to report progress and mitigate risks across the portfolio.
• Oversee bid documents, cost estimates, and responses to RFPs.
• Manage monthly client invoicing, accruals, and AR processes.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities.
