Leidos Engineering seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Power Delivery Solutions division. You will lead a portfolio of substation projects for electric utilities across the Northern and Midwestern US, with hybrid/remote options and Chicago-area focus.

You will mentor PMs, drive cost, schedule and risk management, and oversee proposals, client relations, and project delivery in compliance with Leidos values. Travel up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance or related field.
• 7+ years PM experience in electric power or related field; or 6+ years with Master’s.
• Experience with electric utilities and project financials, bids, and cost estimates.
• Leadership in portfolio management and risk mitigation; strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of project managers to deliver substation engineering design projects.
• Own portfolio performance: cost, schedule and scope management.
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Mentor and develop project management staff.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders to report progress and mitigate risks.
• Oversee bid documents, cost estimates, and responses to RFPs.
• Manage monthly client invoicing, accruals and accounts receivable.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities.
• Ensure contract compliance and quality control standards.
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders and travel as needed.
