Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Senior IT Support Specialist onsite at the SolAero Office (SOL). You’ll be the senior on-site IT support for staff, collaborating with Infrastructure and Launch teams, handling incidents, requests, and projects, and guiding junior staff.

You’ll work across Windows and Linux, PC hardware, networking, scripting, and AD/GP while supporting launches and operations. Some travel and varied shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in IT support or service and a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Operational experience with Windows or Linux desktop OS, PC hardware, networking, scripting, and Active Directory.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT services to Rocket Lab staff onsite at SolAero Office.
• Track, update, and document incidents, requests, problems, changes and projects.
• Serve as senior on-site IT support and mentor junior staff.
• Support Launch and Mission Operation during launch periods.
• Occasional travel may be required; shifts including evenings/weekends possible.
