Rocket Lab Corporation in Long Beach, CA seeks a Senior IT Support Specialist to provide on-site IT services for staff at Rocket Lab HQ. You will collaborate with Infrastructure and Launch teams, mentor junior staff, and own complex tasks with opportunities to lead IT projects.

The role requires 4+ years in IT support, familiarity with Windows/Linux, AD/GP, scripting, and cloud skills (Azure/AWS/O365). Strong problem solving and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in IT support or service.
• Operational experience with Windows or Linux desktops and PC hardware.
• Understanding of networking (TCP/IP/DNS) and scripting language.
• Active Directory and Group Policy experience.
• Experience supporting IT projects through all phases.
• Familiarity with AI platforms and ability to write effective prompts.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT services to Rocket Lab staff.
• Track, update, and document tickets (Incidents, Requests, Changes, Projects).
• Serve as on-site subject matter expert for IT support.
• Provide instruction and documentation to diverse teams.
• Support Launch and Mission Operation during launch periods.
• Possibility of working evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations.
