Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking an IT Support Specialist to be based onsite at SolAero (SOL). You will deliver day‑to‑day IT support, ensuring staff have reliable access to systems, networks, and devices, and you will lead onboarding for new hires to maximize productivity from day one.

You will track incidents and requests, participate in continuous improvement, and join a collaborative IT team. The role may require flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, with potential on-call duties.

Qualifications

• 2+ years IT support experience and a high school diploma or GED.
• Exposure to at least two areas: desktop OS, hardware, networking, scripting, or AD/GP.
• Certifications in CompTIA or ITIL are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support and respond to staff inquiries.
• Track and update ticketing for incidents, requests, problems, changes, and projects.
• Be the onboarding point of contact for new hires to ensure productivity from day one.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement of IT services and processes.
• May require evening, weekend shifts and on-call rotation.
