CAI is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead technology initiatives from initiation through closure, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. This remote contract role collaborates with sponsors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive project success and governance adherence.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in project management, strong stakeholder communication, and experience with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field or experience
• 7+ years of progressive project management experience
• Experience managing full lifecycle IT projects
• Experience creating project plans, budgets, and schedules
• Knowledge of governance, risk, issue, and change control processes
• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project/Planisware)
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Manage IT projects from initiation to closure within approved timelines, budgets, and scope
• Develop charters, objectives, deliverables, budgets, and schedules with sponsors
• Monitor plans, risks, issues, dependencies, resources, and changes
• Communicate status, milestones, risks, and decisions to stakeholders and PMOs
• Coordinate staffing and resources with functional managers
• Ensure deliverables meet established standards and governance
• Lead risk mitigation, issue resolution, and change control processes
• Track financials and forecasts across fiscal periods
• Collaborate to define and realize business value and benefits
• Contribute to process improvements and best practices
• Execute project closeout activities and leadership reviews
