Job summary

CAI is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead IT projects from initiation through closure in a remote capacity. You will drive projects within scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with sponsors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams using Agile or Waterfall approaches.

The role requires a minimum of 7 years in project management, strong communication, and governance knowledge. PMP or Scrum Master certifications are preferred, and the position is remote/contract-based.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive professional experience in project management.
• Experience managing projects through full lifecycle.
• Experience developing project plans, budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Knowledge of governance, risk, issue, and change control processes.
• Proficiency with PM tools such as Microsoft Project or Planisware.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initiation through closure within timelines, budgets, and scope.
• Develop charters, objectives, deliverables, budgets, and schedules with sponsors.
• Monitor plans, risks, issues, dependencies, resources, and changes.
• Communicate status, milestones, risks, and decisions to stakeholders and PMO.
• Coordinate resources and staffing with functional managers.
• Ensure compliance with PM standards and governance.
