Job summary

CAI is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead technology projects from initiation through closure in a remote, contract role. You will collaborate with sponsors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive success while applying Agile or Waterfall methodologies.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of project management experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Project or Planisware. This role offers remote work flexibility and a demanding, rewarding environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
7+ years of progressive PM experience, including large engineering projects.
Experience managing projects through full lifecycle.
Experience developing project plans, budgets, schedules, and resources.
Knowledge of governance, risk, issues, and change control.

Responsibilities

Manage projects from initiation through closure within timelines, budgets, and scope.
Develop charters, objectives, deliverables, budgets, and schedules with sponsors.
Monitor plans, risks, issues, dependencies, resources, and changes.
Communicate status to stakeholders, PMOs, and leadership.
Coordinate resources and staffing with functional managers.
Ensure deliverables comply with PM standards and governance.
