Job summary

CAI is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead IT initiatives from initiation through closure, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget. The role supports remote work and involves governance, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver value.

The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of project management experience, familiarity with Agile or Waterfall, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. PMP/SCM certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, PM, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive professional experience in project management, including experience managing large engineering projects
• Demonstrated experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle
• Experience developing project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource allocations
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Planisware, or similar platforms; knowledge of Agile and Waterfall

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initiation through closure, ensuring delivery within approved timelines, budgets, and scope
• Partner with project sponsors and stakeholders to develop project charters, define objectives, deliverables, resource requirements, budgets, and schedules
• Monitor and manage project plans, risks, issues, dependencies, resources, and change requests
• Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and key decisions to stakeholders, PMOs, and steering committees
• Coordinate project resources and negotiate staffing needs with functional managers as required
• Ensure all project deliverables and documentation comply with established project management standards and governance requirements
• Facilitate risk identification, mitigation planning, issue resolution, and change management processes
• Track project financials, resource allocations, forecasts, and recovery plans across fiscal periods
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define, measure, and realize project benefits and business value
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through lessons learned, process enhancements, and project management best practices
• Lead project closeout activities, including project summaries, presentations, and closure reviews with leadership teams
