Job summary

CAI is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead IT initiatives from initiation to closure. This remote, contract role requires strong stakeholder communication and expertise in Agile or Waterfall methodologies, with a focus on delivering within scope, schedule, and budget.

You will collaborate with sponsors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive project success, adhering to established governance standards and driving business value.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive project management experience, including large engineering projects.
• Full lifecycle project management experience from initiation through closure.
• Experience developing project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Strong knowledge of governance, risk, issue management, and change control.
• Proficiency with PM tools such as Microsoft Project or Planisware.
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies and governance standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT projects from initiation through closure within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop project charters, objectives, deliverables, and budgets with sponsors.
• Monitor plans, risks, issues, dependencies, and changes; adjust as needed.
• Communicate status and decisions to stakeholders, PMOs, and leadership.
• Coordinate resources and staffing with functional managers.
• Ensure deliverables meet governance standards and documentation.
