Job summary

Cribl seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a remote-first, cross-functional SDET team responsible for the quality and reliability of Cribl products. This is a hands‑on leadership role in ensuring that quality is built‑in from the start of the software development lifecycle, implementing test strategy from design to release with agentic workflows.

You'll drive engineering excellence, delivering high‑quality products to our customers and mentor a remote team focused on agentic workflows.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in establishing testing strategy and defining quality metrics for SaaS products and customer deployments.
• Thorough understanding of the SDLC and agentic development changes.
• Strong knowledge of test architecture, automation, CI/CD, observability, release management, and root‑cause analysis.
• Experience with AI‑developed tests and workflows is preferred.
• BS CS/EE or equivalent with 10+ years of industry experience, including 4+ years in technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality strategy across Cribl products and communicate data‑driven metrics.
• Lead test automation, CI stability, defect prevention, and root‑cause analysis.
• Optimize end‑to‑end pipelines for quality and velocity and reduce bottlenecks.
• Coach and grow a remote‑first team of test engineers on agentic workflows.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering managers to enforce quality from design.
