Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Clinical Triage Specialist (RN) for the Access Center. The CTS will use nursing judgment to triage calls and provide clinical guidance to ensure patients obtain appropriate care or self-care advice.

The position requires an active RN license in PA/NJ or a compact state and at least 2 years of clinical experience in a physician office, home health, critical care, or ED. Remote work may be available under the Network Work from Home Policy.

Qualifications

• RN license active in PA/NJ or compact state.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a physician office, home health, critical care, or emergency room.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.
• Ability to work from home per Network policy.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones, triage calls using approved clinical protocols, and coordinate services.
• Verify patient demographics and update electronic health records accurately.
• Escalate clinical issues to the POD team and provide guidance per protocols.
• Manage escalated messages and prioritize patient needs.
• Document symptoms, nursing assessments, and advice provided.
