Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN licensure in PA/NJ or other compact state as required by state law.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a physician office, home health, critical care or emergency department.
• Strong communication skills and time management are essential.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephones, triages calls, follows clinical protocols, and coordinates services.
• Verifies patient demographics and updates information in the EHR.
• Escalates clinical issues and provides guidance based on protocols.
• Manages escalated electronic messages and prioritizes patient needs.
• Delivers a positive patient experience and resolves concerns within scope.
• Meets productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards.
• Uses guidelines to assess, advise, schedule, or refer calls as needed.
• Documents symptoms, nursing assessment, advice, and patient responses.
