Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Clinical Triage Specialist (RN) for the Access Center to deliver an exceptional patient experience and provide clinical support to CTS-MA team members.

You will triage calls using nursing protocols, verify demographics, and document assessments. You will work from home as needed under the Network Work from Home Policy, while ensuring compliance and high-quality care across PA/NJ.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent clinical experience in physician office, home health, critical care or emergency department.

• Active RN licensure in PA/NJ or compact state.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephones, triages clinical calls, and coordinates services per protocols.
• Verifies patient demographics and updates the EHR.
• Escalates clinical issues to POD team and provides advice per protocols.
• Manages escalated electronic patient messages with clinical judgment.
• Creates a positive patient experience and resolves issues during calls.
• Meets productivity, schedule adherence and quality standards.
• Uses all resources to assess, advise, schedule, or refer calls to appropriate personnel.
• Accurately documents symptoms, nursing assessment and patient response.
• Partners with Access Center teams and practice clinicians on behalf of the patient.
• Other duties as assigned.
